About

aboutSince 1999, I have had a wide range of experiences as a psychologist that have prepared me well to work with a number of different themes or concerns you may want to discuss.

As a therapist, I have worked in settings that include:

  • Outpatient medical hospitals
  • Substance Abuse treatment programs
  • County-sponsored programs for the under-represented
  • Spiritual Counseling Center

I have also acted as a consultant in specialty areas that include:

  • Consultant for Emergency Room and Triage services
  • Clinical Supervisor and Director of Training for post-doctoral psychology fellows

As a psychological treatment and health education coordinator, I have designed, implemented, and/or led a multitude of programs to help those with anxiety and mood concerns such as:

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, social anxiety, worry, panic,  phobias, OCD, male sexual dysfunction, and impulse control problems
  • Mindfulness and Acceptance Commitment therapy skills for mood and anxiety management
